Do I need to create an account?

No. Verso works locally on your Mac. Accounts are only needed if you want to share workspaces with your team via CloudKit.

Can I try it before committing?

Yes! Verso is free to download and use. No trial period, no credit card required.

How do I import my existing inventory?

You can import from CSV files. We support standard formats from Excel, Numbers, and most inventory systems.

Check our documentation, watch video tutorials, or email us. We typically respond within 24 hours.

Can I use Verso offline?

Yes! Verso works completely offline. CloudKit sync is optional and only needed if you're collaborating with a team.

Your data lives on your Mac. If you enable CloudKit sync, it's encrypted and stored in your private iCloud. We never see your inventory data.

How to set up

Verso will help your team to get on the same page regarding inventory and product information. To get started two things are required
1. A working macOS system running macOS 26
2. A valid Apple ID (for everyone on your team)

Start

1. Download the app from the Mac App Store. Search for Verso and search for our icon. Or visit the following link: Download Verso from the Mac App Store

2. Make sure your running macOS has the preferred Apple ID signed in, in the system settings
3. Create a workspace in Verso
4. Create your first item, assembly and/or end-item and start building your inventory.
5. Once you progress filling information to the digital version of your inventory you notice the dashboard showing.
