Get started with Verso and learn how to create your inventory truth to gain full insight and confidence.

How to set up

The basic of Verso

Before everyone gets on the same page, you have to create that page. Get started, with no extra account required except your Apple ID.

Download & install

Click the download button, open the .dmg file, and drag Verso to your Applications folder. Launch it like any Mac app.

Use Apple ID

Make sure the device you are using is signed in with the Apple ID you want to be using. (Only for sharing the workspace).

Create workspace

Name your workspace. Think of workspaces like separate inventory databases, most teams start with one.

Create first item

Click the + button to add a part. Fill in the basics: name, SKU, quantity, supplier. That's it. You're tracking inventory.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Verso works locally on your Mac. Accounts are only needed if you want to share workspaces with your team via CloudKit.

Yes! Verso is free to download and use. No trial period, no credit card required.

How do I import my existing inventory?

You can import from CSV files. We support standard formats from Excel, Numbers, and most inventory systems.

Can I use Verso offline?

Yes! Verso works completely offline. CloudKit sync is optional and only needed if you're collaborating with a team.

What about my data?

Your data lives on your Mac. If you enable CloudKit sync, it's encrypted and stored in your private iCloud. We never see your inventory data.
